Artist's Retreats

Paula's Artist retreats are located in beautiful Northwest Oklahoma City. The scenery is inspiring. Lake Hefner home to many sailing vessels and even a light house, and a scenic neighborhood waterway are all available to inspire your landscape paintings.

The retreat offers unparalleled beauty and serenity to the casual "Sunday" painter as well as the serious artist. The location is on a quiet neighborhood street, giving the artist time to study with a master painter in a comfortable studio setting. Oklahoma City is home to many fine museums, art districts, historical districts, and river boat adventures. Of course a large mall within a short 3 mile drive provides excellent shopping. Oklahoma City has a large airport for artists who are flying in.

Plan to spend quality time with your hostess and teacher, Paula White, or tie alone with your color palette under a secluded porch surrounded by a variety of birds. Paula's private library of books about art, artists, history, and music are available to inspire and nurture you.

A lovely room, bright and airy, in a 1970's brick home, with twin beds and private bath awaits you. A refreshing breakfast (that can include: breads, fresh fruit in season, cereal, and coffee or tea) is served on the patio as weather permits. Lunch is served around Paula's charming kitchen table, and dinner is on your own.

Fees for Paula's Oklahoma City Artist Retreats are a reasonable $375.00 per day. The fee includes housing, breakfast, lunch, paints, medium, all firings, and Paula's personal instruction. Porcelain can be purchased for an additional fee (which varies with your selection).

Travel Seminars

Paula White is available to teach a seminar for your club or painting group. Please contact Paula by phone or using the "send us and email" link on the right to arrange specific dates for your seminar. Fees are $350.00 per day plus travel costs, meals, and lodging.

Home Study School of Art

Paula White offers a complete set of seven DVDs for the china painter who wishes to study Paula's techniques at home and at their own pace. The subjects covered in these DVDs include: Landscapes,Dual DVD set on Composition, Design, and Color with Grapes, Dual DVD set on Roses, Blackberries and Wild Roses, and a DVD that bridges watercolor and porcelain painting.
