New from Paula White's Home Study School of Art - Contemporary Design Book in Softcopy Format

Paula White, world renowned porcelain art teacher, has just released a new book based on two years of Contemporary Design classes. This book gives information on the elements of design, using patterns of light and dark, value sketching with Tombow pen, and how to put the information together to create a more modern work of art. This 87 pages of new designs and suggestions is a lot of food for thought. There are assignments and exercises for the artist to complete to become familiar with the techniques.

Paula indicates that it is her hope that this will encourage you to take a leap to more modern design in your work.

Paula is going green as she issues this new book. She has a new format for all books. All new books will be presented on CD in PDF format for the artists. Artists with computers will just insert the disc and print off whatever they want from the book or read on the computer. Artists without computers can present the disc to their local printer to have a copy printed off. Paula gives permission to commercial printers for this to be done on the flyer.

This new 120 minute DVD captures Paula's fascinating technique for painting seascapes and waterfalls. Each step-by-step demonstration allows the viewer an up-close and personal view of the process. The emphasis is on using alcohol and water to disperse the paint and learning to manipulate the edges for a satisfactory effect. Available with this DVD is a 25 page booklet on CD in PDF format.
